In the summer of 2026, we supplied and fitted complete new Accoya timber double glazed sash windows to the front elevation of this striking Edwardian Arts and Crafts property.
The original sash windows to this Edwardian property in East Sheen were showing significant signs of deterioration and rot to the timber. Being single glazed and draughty the homeowner was concerned about heat loss and noise pollution.
We supplied and installed complete new Accoya timber sash windows, matching the design and detailing of the original windows. The new windows were glazed with double glazed units incorporating acoustic glass.
Combining acoustic laminate glass with effective draught-proofing can reduce noise pollution by more than 50% compared to a standard double glazed unit.
