In early 2025 we manufactured and installed new double glazed timber sashes to this property in Wandsworth.
We were able to replicate the design of the original Edwardian sash windows with their unique scalloped pane design to the upper sashes.
The original sash boxes were retained and fully restored, with new pulleys and sash weights fitted. The double glazed sashes were made out of Accoya and fully spray finished with a breathable micro-porous paint, making them both extremely durable and low maintenance.
The double glazed units incorporated toughened glass with white spacer and sealed into the sashes with an acrylic making the double glazing less obtrusive and giving the appearance of traditional single glazed windows.
The windows were fully draught-proofed and a high quality window furniture and locks were fitted throughout.
