New Accoya timber box sash windows with a dual finish, white on the exterior and a stained finish on the interior.
We manufactured and fitted two complete new Accoya timber double glazed sash windows to the front first floor elevation of this Victorian terrace cottage in Teddington.
The clients had a very specific brief, they required the exterior of the windows to be white and the interior to be a stained finish matching the rest of the internal woodwork. At SashWise we were of course more than happy to fulfil their request and after experimenting with various different stain finishes we found the perfect match.
Alongside being double glazed the new windows were fully draught-proofed and we incorporated seals that colour matched the different timber finishes.
The new windows greatly enhanced the thermal efficiency and sound-proofing of the windows whilst complementing the interior decor.
We are extremely pleased with the replacement of our two front bedroom windows. The whole process was very smooth, professional and completed on schedule. There was a high level of workmanship involved and evident pride in what was done. The wood finish greatly enhances the room we are already benefiting from the double glazing.
