We completely restored 20 original timber sash windows though out this gorgeous Victorian house in Richmond.
The windows were in extremely poor condition, with extensive rot. Our client wanted to keep the originals and they live in a conservation area, but they wanted to improve the level of heat retention and get rid of all the draughts. They also wanted the windows restored to their former glory, so they looked beautiful again.
Thanks again for the fantastic job on the windows and shutters! Dan and the team did a great job restoring 20 sash windows through a Victorian house. The windows were in desperate need of attention, extremely draughty, hard to open and with extensive rot damage through out. Now all of the windows open smoothly and are fully draught-proofed – not only do the windows look great, the house is also noticeably warmer. Sashwise also provided and installed plantation shutters which improved the look of the rooms 100% (and further helped keep the heat in). Highly recommended.
