Upgrading of Leaded Sashes to Casement Bay Windows in Ealing

In October 2025, we supplied and fitted new leaded double glazed timber sashes to the casement bay windows of this 1920s property in Ealing.

Project Overview

The existing bay frames were retained, stripped back to the original wood, sanded, restored and painted throughout.

We manufactured new Accoya timber casement sashes incorporating double glazed units with leaded glass. We matched the design of the original lead work to replicate the appearance of the historic leaded windows.

We are delighted with our new casement windows and have already noticed a huge benefit in the rooms feeling much warmer. No longer our we having to wipe the windows every day to remove the condensation. SashWise did an exceptional job in matching the original lead design of the windows. Dan and his team were great from the moment we first contacted SashWise right through until the work was completed. We would not hesitate to recommend SashWise and have already done so.
